Spinoff on waiting
ok well all know we have little boys for DHs and they would definitely wait on a line 9+ hours for a game or whatever...
Is there anything that YOU would wait 9+ hours on line for?

but seriously, i waited to get a book signed by ann rice. i also waited several hours to get into a sample sale. it was fun!

keep reading! i loved the very last one. i found out after i read it that her husband had passed away and how he was the inspiration for lestat. then i read it again- and it took on a whole new (and very sad) meaning.

I have waited on line overnight a few times to get METS tickets when they go on sale in February...it's freezing cold...but it was fun. I realized though...no matter how long I stand online, I still won't get good seats to the Mets/Yankee game, so I didn't do it last year.

We did it once when I lived in a city that opened a new airport terminal and you could get 1/2 price airfare. We booked over the phone and then had to go to the terminal to pay an pick up the tix.
We thought we would have to wait an hour or 2 - turned into about 8 hours, but after we invested 2 hours, we just couldn't leave!
