About how much do spend TOTAL on presents?
For the holidays for every single present...how much does it usually add up to?

Too much and it is ridiculous. I still HAVE to buy presents for my cousins who are in their 20's. I tried to talk my family into doing a secret santa this year but everyone still wants a bunch of presents instead of just 1  I am in the $800-$1200 range for about 20 adults & kids.

I am am embarassed to post this, but I think we spend about $5000 or more on everyone We have 3 children and buy for about 15 other people in our families

i seem to be with the majority... 801-1200 dollar range
it wasn't so bad until i met vin and had to start buying for a whole other group of people in addition to my fam.
luckily, it is just immediate - so, my parents, brother, sister, nephew and my husband.
then, on his side, MIL, FIL, SIL, SIL's fiance and our dog - believe it or not we spend that amount on that group of people!

Well....I have 7 birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas from November 21-December 30 so I spend about $2500 total. Christmas is about $1500-1800. Joe is about $500-600, parents $300-400, siblings, $200-300, nieces $200, friends, cousins, co-workers about $300-400, and extras..ie: pickle gift and hostess/host gifts. Birthdays kill me because I have DH, Mom, Dad, neice, brother, and 2 grandma's. It's not like I can skimp out! I do a lot of online, ebay, and flowers. Grandma's get birthday flowers sent, and then the rest is on me. It's really hard because Joe's b-day is Dec 3 and it's important to me to give him a proper birthday. I can't skimp because it's the holidays. I save a lot and start buying gifts in Sept for everyone. There are also a lot of great online deals, and I don't wait so it's easier. I get him and my family things they have asked for through out the year and not just in Nov/Dec.

try putting a limit on the cousins. this yr i need to do that with my sisters. we have a black tie wedding the last weekend in december. december will be very costly

We are in the 1-400 range....I usually only buy for DH, my mom , Dad, brother, BIL's, MIL & FIL(something small) Grandmother and my secret santa at work.
My friends get little stocking stuffer type things....we will be cutting back even more this year with us buying a house

I'm in the $1200 range, but I have 14 nieces and nephews, DH, my parents, his parent, his brother and SIL and grandmother. I also usually exchange with two GFs.

we have my 4 brothers, his 2 sisters, our 6 parents (step and birth), my sil, his son, this year our son and we usually get each other something very small b/c money starts getting tight.
this year may be worse than others b/c the hospital bills have started coming in from ds's birth i wish my insurance covered 100%

Last year I spent $1059 - not including DH. I didn't keep track of what I spent on him.

Same here, we have 2 kids, and 9 nieces and nephews between us, not to mention our parents, and our collective 7 brothers and sisters and their significant others. The joy of super large families. We don't even buy for cousins or aunts and uncles!
