Okay so I have my level II coming up soon and a lot of my friends and family know that it is coming up and know that DH and I plan on finding out whether or not we are having a or

However, we want it to be some what of a surprise and do not want to tell everyone immediately! Our plan was to tell my mom and have her put it on my shower invitation (thought it would be a cute way of letting everyone know)!

BUT, people all already harassing me and getting annoyed when I tell them we don't want to tell right away! I have actually gotten yelled at and told "if you don't tell.....blah blah blah!" Its really giving me anxiety and making me feel like I "have" to tell some people sooner to keep them satisfied without causing futher drama!!

I will never understand why people have such a hard time respecting your wishes when this is YOUR baby. I know you want to avoid drama, but I say stick to your guns and go with your original plan. Don't these people realize this is about YOU & DH?

You should just tell them that they could not tell what the baby is and then they won't harrass you. Its none of there business how you choose to tell or not tell!

Its pretty unusual for people to find out gender but then keep it a secret, so I'm guessing your friends are just confused. No one would harass you like that for keeping the name a secret, thats common.
