My MIL is unbelievable!!!
Although we get a long most of the time she tends to make comments from time to time for her own humor.
Well, yesterday she came by my house with her sister. She noticed that I have a little baby bump and says, "Oh my God, your going to be the size of a house!!" I looked at my husband and he smiled and said she's joking sweetie. Mind you, this is NOT the first time she has said this to me. About a month ago she told me I am going to be huge! Now she proceeds to tell me I'm going to be the size of a house???? Who says that????
I was and still am furious at this woman!!

my mil did that to me too. at about 10 weeks i had a slight bump, my mil thought i "popped" and was saying that I was going to be enormous.
whatever.
don't listen to her.

MIL are never happy...atleast you have a baby bump! mine kept saying not much of a belly there you need to eat more...now at 33 wks its your belly is small eat more not much room for the baby to move in there...you just cant make them happy!!!

Did you say anything back to her? I would have put her in her place! And you can always blame what you say on those d*rn pregnancy hormones!

I was so caught off guard I was actually lost for words, I couldn't believe she said that!! So I just gave her a really nasty look, bit my tongue and looked at my husband with the look of death because he knew I was pi$$ed! He laughed it off as if she was joking but I know she wasn't.

I love my MIL. She is just the opposite. Even when I am full, she is trying to feed me. If we go to a restaurant, she tells the waiter to add extra on my plate cause I ma eating for two. Can't win......
