jury duty
i got grand jury duty back in sept & i was preg ( I miscarried) and had a business trip over the time they wanted me to serve. i postponed. i got a dr note saying i was pg and could not serve. well im pg again ( with twins!) and got grand jury duty again. its a minimum of 20 days and there is not a selection. im already in. my job at this time of year is not stressful but i think jury duty may be even easier than working. the only thing is i have weekly dr apts. im only 6.5 weeks but am being monitored. if i have jury duty im concerend about going to the dr. to postpone i have to go in person to make a case. and its not like my life is going to get easier as i get more pg and then have 2 babies. i know i will have to serve eventually. what should i do? try to get out of it? try to serve with accommadation to go to the dr?

Re: jury duty
If you feel you can do it now, I would if you can get clearance for your doctor's appts., though I've heard grand jury duty is pretty picky, so they may not give this to you.
Try it though, otherwise, you can probably get a doctor's note and postpone again.

Re: jury duty
If the MD says it is OK just do it. I've served on the grand jury twice and the hardest part is driving to and from the courthouse.

Re: jury duty
I would def get it over with! Ask your Dr what he/she thinks. Can you get Saturday or late evening appts?
