Re: has anyone been told NOT to fly in the 1st trimester?
No and honestly never heard until a few people mentioned it here. I've been pregnant 3x and all times the dr. said it was perfectly safe and fine for any low/normal risked pregnant woman. I flew a bit when I was pregnant with my first.

Just asked my Dr. this question last week as DH and I are going away in December and again in Feb. She said enjoy your vacation!

Re: has anyone been told NOT to fly in the 1st trimester?
I could not, but it was because I was high risk at the time.

I flew on 4 flights in my first trimester before I even knew I was pregnant.

I was told not to - but I was having a little bit of complications in the beginning.

nope. I just got back from Italy & Switzerland. My docs advice was "go, and have a great time!"

Re: has anyone been told NOT to fly in the 1st trimester?
Nope. I fly every week for work - and when I was three and six weeks pregnant I did a 10 hour flight to Greece and back - no problems at all!
