Yeah I hear ya.. these people should shut up and realize telling me to relax is actually making me more anxious.. I just say, yeah you go through what I am and than you tell me how you relax and I will give it try

Hah...I constantly get the well if the IVF's don't work...it will probably happen after all that by itself.
Yeah, my tubes will miraculously unblock, my PCOS will go away and will be 5 years younger.

I had a Doctor (non fertility) tell me that. I needed some stitches and they asked what meds I was on, when I said Clomid, metformin, etc, - she says, "Oh, I was on that too once." So I asked her if it worked and she said, "No, it made me crazy. Once I stopped taking it and relaxed I was able to conceive." Relaxing has nothing to do with it!

i hate that "relax" crap, or "don't think about it"
10 minutes dont go by without em thinking about it.
People even tell us to go adopt a child so are minds are not on all this then it will naturally happen......what?!?!?! that makes no sense!

don't mean to crash, but i wanted to add my 2 cents.
a close friend of dh has been trying and has not been successful at getting pg. so the other night my il's were over and we were talking about getting pg. she said that if this friend just relaxes it will happen. i told her that is the worst thing you can say to anyone. its not about relaxing.
i learned never to say that to anyone after another friend was trying. it can be insenitive.
