tipping hairdressers
How much do you tip? I just had my hair colored and blown out. I hope I give enough. I know they say usually 20% which is what I give the girl who cuts my hair, but my color and blow dry was $180 and I can't see spending 20% of that for a tip.

A tip is usually 15 to 20% of a service.

I gave $20 to the colorist who also blew out my hair and $5 to the girl who rinsed and shampoo. So it was a total of $25. I usually always give 20% but given the amount of the service, I felt like I skimped.

me too- sometimes more- I normally tip the hair stylist 20% and then all the other people $3-$5 depending on what they did
