Does anyone have a mantel?
Our apartment doesn't have a fireplace, but I'd love the look and love to put a mantel against a wall and then where the fire would go, either put plants or a candleabra kind of thingie. But where can I get just a mantel and not spend a ton of money?

they sell mantel kits at home depot-the prices range quite a bit. You also might try antique shops although I doubt you'll find anything really cheap because mantels are so popular now. Did you try searching online?
