Does anyone take the LIRR from Syosset?
Is there a parking lot there? Do you need a permit to park there?

Yes, you need a permit (sticker). There is parking on both sides of the tracks, and the lots fill up so fast in the morning. After 7:30, people start making thier own spots.
The sticker is a TOB parking sticker on the back of your bumper. There is very little, if any street parking in the area. There is a CVS across the street, but I am not sure if you would get ticketed parking there.
After 4 p.m., I am sure you could park without a sticker.

I always park a little down on Jackson on a side street - never had a problem....
