Deciding to date DH after all.
I dated other guys off and on. My grandmother ALWAYS questioned why I didn't date DH.
I never wanted to. I wanted to be friends. Didn't want to lose him as a friend.
Then, after my ex and I broke up, I wanted to be single for a bit. DH decided to ask me out, I hesitated, but, said OK and here we are 12 years later.

Joining a Finance program in HS & started working in corporate America at the age of 19. - Best & worst decision.

I missed out on the whole "going away to college" experience & following my career dream, however, I gained so much experience (career-wise) earlier in my career than most people entering the industry right after college. It only took me 2 years to receive the salary (& more) of college grads entering my position with a bachelors degree.

This is going to sound horrible....but the best mistake was deciding to have Marissa at such a young age...she's the light of our lives and we wouldn't change a thing.

breaking my new year's eve resolution

after a couple of serious relationships and some not-so-serious ones that ended when the guys stopped calling me i swore off men on new year's eve of 2003.

i had known DH for about 6 months then, and three weeks later we began seriously flirting. we hooked up one night... then spent the whole next day together... and the day after that... and on, and on. for about 2 1/2 weeks i really thought we were just having a fling until he called me his girlfriend

i didn't correct him... and have been deliriously happy ever since.

my second best mistake? leaving law school despite the fact that i was on a full scholarship.

Getting arrested for DUI 10 years ago. I believe that cop saved my life - and maybe someone else's - because I never drank/drove ever again.

Going out with Israelis. I never wanted to date Israelis- and I had a date with 2 of them in 1 week. Dh was one of them.

Deciding to get pregnant, even though the marriage was in trouble I would endure a thousand lifetimes with my STBX in order to have my daughter in my life.

Dating my HS boyfriend for almost 4 years... I wouldn't have met my DH if I broke up with him earlier than I did.
