my son saw a nutrionist for several years when he was little. He has always been at risk for diabetes because of his weight. He is 20 now & 6'4" & about 290-300 lbs.
It helped us both learn about sugars-back then the carb free diets weren't popular & portion control. I can't say he lost weight, because that wasn't a goal however he does not have diabetes-thank god.
