Anyone want a Sprial staircase?
We were going to put this on ebay or Craig's list, but I figured I would post it here first.

I looked at a house on the channel in South Bellmore that had one - Didnt like that

We are putting in a staircase along the back wall. The spiral takes up too much space, plus NYS law states that you have to have a "regular" staircase in addition to a spiral for the house to be up to code. You cannot have just a spiral as your only staircase. At least that is what our town told us when we went for the work permits.
We are also going to feng shui our home and spiral staircases are a no-no in feng shui.
Our contractor said that a lot of people like spirals and that is why I put it on here.

DH would love one, LOL but we dont have room for it. come to think of it I think he'd love a big fireman pole too that he could slide down.
