Does anyone know of a place that refinishes furniture?

My grandparents' recently passed away and DH and I took their dining room set which is about 65 years old! We'd like to have it refinished to match our decor. I realize that by having it refinished it will loose any monetary value, but that's not important to me since it has way more sentimental value. If you recommend a place/person in sufflok that would be great!

I don't know of anyone in Suffolk but I had my grandmother's 45 yr old dining room chairs refinished when I inherited them at a place called furniture doctor on sunrise hwy in Merrick.

I was going to recommend Furniture Doctor too. My parents had there DR set and sideboard refinished by them and it still looks great 7 years later.

My mom's a faux finisher and refinishes furniture....one of the coolest things I think she's done is this --- it was originally a white Italian laquer dining room set.... now it looks like marble to match the client's decor...
