I'm not really into it anymore. After an 8 year break from the time I stopped Trick or Treating ,and then taking my kids around for 20 years, I'm pooped 
In my area we get kids brought in to my neighborhood from other areas. Aside from the few little ones around here they seem to be older kids and teens.
I don't like to open my door if I'm here alone  I won't even drive after dark on Halloween. There are alot of wacko's out there.

I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 13, so a holiday centered around sugar kind of lost it's appeal pretty quick... 
I'm getting back into it because of DC, though.

I participate for my daughter. I could personally take it or leave it. I don't dress up ever. It's just not my thing.

yea i agree, i have no interest in this holiday, i do not go to parties, i dont dress up, i do give out candy, that i actually like.

I have never really liked Halloween. It seems like and excuse for every a**hole to play a mean prank or ruin property.
