How would you handle this situation?
I know someone who gave birth earlier this year. I remember, prior to my pregnancy she had said she missed being pregnant. I hear this a lot, my best friend always says how she misses being pregnant which is perfectly normal I'm sure.
I don't know if I'm extra sensitive now that I'm pg but this girl had pure jealousy written all over her face the moment she found out I was pg. Until this day, she talks about her pregnancy as if she is still pg. She hasn't even been very friendly towards me as she used to, her jealousy is showing right through. Although I hate to think she feels this way her actions speak louder than words.
Did you ever experience this? What would you do in a situation like this? I'm the type of person who speaks what is on my mind but this is someone I work with so it's not as easy due to the circumstances.

That is so random! It isn't like she lost the baby and has an actual reason to be jealous! People make me sick! I would just sit her down and ask her if something is bothering her!!! Then ignore her!

That is a tough one and might even be too strange to bring up...I hope she gets the hell over it soon though because that will be annoying for many months. What a weirdo.

Right? That is exactly my thought on this, that it's so random. I think it's the fact that she's not the one being babied anymore by everyone. She can't stand the fact that I'm the one being babied now. It's all about being the center of attention, it's pretty sad.
Everyone asks me how I'm feeling, she never does. Meanwhile when she was pg I was the one person that babied her the most. I'm not looking to be babied, it's the principal.

Her behavior is just so strange. I can't figure it out, there is no reason to feel this way but your right it is very strange to bring up.
Oh well, I guess I just have to deal with it. Some people are just so strange

Re: How would you handle this situation?
never experienced. but i am one of the miss being preg. people. i just gave birth 5 weeks ago and can't wait to be preggo again, but im not jealouse of others that are, im sooo excitted for them. But if i was to have a problem getting prego again, i guess i may get jealous but not in a bad way- just human nature.. maybe shes unable to get prego, so it might come off as jealous mean while shes just upset that she cant, nothing against you personally.

Freeze a can of aerosol shaving cream. While frozen, cut the bottom open. Place in small desk drawer of jerky coworker.

I would just ignore her. You have enough to think about right now without worrying about her.

I agree with pp - just ignore it. I'm sure you are right and she is jealous. Its her problem- not yours.

Re: How would you handle this situation?
Wow, there must be something wrong with me because so far I will not miss being pregnant once the baby arrives. Maybe it's just too soon to say, I'm only 10w4d but I miss my old self and can't wait until things go back to normal again!
Anyone else feel the same???

I have had terrible heartburn for pretty much the whole pregnancy. I will definitely NOT miss being pregnant either.
