Just need to get it out
Lately I have noticed that instead of saying or typing drawer, when speaking about the thing in the dresser, they say draw...its driving me nuts

I live with a "draw" person and it makes me insane.
I always make him resay it.
Or I yell "ER!" after he says it.

LOL i'm a speech therapist, and it drives me nuts, too!! the word has an ending, people!!

I don't mind the pronunciation of "draw." It is when people SPELL it that way instead of "drawer" that irks me. Same thing with "prayer." People say and write "pray" instead of "prayer" all the time.
