Baby carriers - opinions please!
I think I like these, though I know noone who actually has one... (The only person I've seen using one is Aidan on sex in the city when Carrie saw him and he turned and had a baby in a carrier.)
Did anyone register for one? if so- which brand and why?

My dd is seven months old and still spends a LOT of time in the bjorn. It started out as a place to calm her when she was fussy... now I use it when I have things to do around the house, for local errands and even when I food shop. It is my absolute favorite piece of baby gear!
Now that I use it, i notice so many more woman who use them too.

I used them all the time with #1, and will start even sooner with #2. The stuff they have at BRU is so limited, there are much better options than just the baby bjorn if you are willing to do some research. (http://www.thebabywearer.com/ is a great place to do research!)

We're getting a Bjorn for my husband and a sling (probably Mama's Milk or Kangaroo Karrier) for me. Calla- I'm def. gonna check out that website, though!

We originally registered for the Baby Bjorn Original but have heard that if you're planning to use it often, the Baby Bjorn Active is far superior (it has a lumbar for back support) so we switched our registry to that one.

I had the Bjorn, which i liked because it was so easy to put on, but i didn't find it to be that comfortable. I also got the Ultimate Baby Wrap and loved it! It was so much more comfortable and you can put the baby in more positions, but it's not as fast to put on.
