Working on aptarment....

how early is to early to work on your apt. a couple moved in above us yesterday. they're renting. since about 10:00-10:15 they've been working. about 10 minutes ago we were a drill. is it too early to do that type of work? thank goodness we're both up. especially on a sunday, i wouldn't use a drill till about 12

Re: Working on aptarment....

I definately don't think 10:00am is too early to do any work. My neighbors were doing loads of construction on their house and the workers would start as early as 8:00am.

That's fine. It's when it is 7:00 that I have an issue. Or when they keep working and it's 9:30 at night!

Re: Working on aptarment....

yeah, technically most town noise ordinances are for deep sleep times.... approx 11pm to 7am. makes it very uncomfy if construction is going on near by

I'd cut them some slack since they just moved in. If they made a habit out of early morning work on the weekends, I'd say something.

Re: Working on aptarment....

We live in a condo complex, and our rules are no loud noise between 9PM and 9AM. So 10:30AM or 11AM would be fine here.

I agree. They must have tons to do and only have so much time to get it done.

But I don't think 10 is too early. I think 8am is usually when work is permitted to start.
