Grammar help!
Can someone please help - I am having a mental block.
Is it:
A block of rooms HAVE been reserved at the Radisson Hotel
or
A block of rooms HAS been reserved at the Radisson Hotel
Total moron over here

i believe its "have" since "rooms" is pluralized.

It's has since it refers to the block and not the rooms. (I know I post very rarely, but I'm an English teacher and couldn't resist the grammar question.)

ITA. Not an English teacher but just remember the noun + verb
The noun is "a block" so it's "has".
