both - if we are going away for two or three days i pack for him, but if it's for a week or more, i let him pack himself, since it would be more of an issue if i forgot to pack something for him.

No, I don't pack his stuff-- I can't make those decisions for him. He usually asks me if he should bring a dressy outfit though!
Recently, we were going away for a wedding he was in and he noticced at the last minute that something was missing from his tux, so he ran back to the store & I tried to be nice & pack his toiletries while he was gone & I forgot his toothbrush! 
So, I don't think he'd want me to pack for him again!

I pack for both of us, if not he would take one pair of pants and two pairs of underware. I learned my lesson on our very first trip together. It is just easier for me to do it otherwise I will have to go back and doublecheck everything anyway.

He took care of himself long before I came along. He does his laundry. I do mine. He packs his things, I pack mine. He may ask an opinion on a color for a dress shirt, but thats about it.

He'll leave out what he wants to bring and I pack it in the suitcase while I'm packing my stuff. We came to that compromise after he left it to the last minute one too many times and I got pizzed when he was trying to pack at 2am when I'm trying to sleep.
