nervous

Hi

Im nervous I got my BFP Wednesday and blood done on Wednesday, the nurse called yesterday and said all levels look great, and my doctor feels no need to re due blood and scheduled me for a sono for next Friday…..I really have no symptoms, tired maybe sometimes……today I feel a dull crampy feeling on one of my sides and its making me so nervous…is this something normal?????

Re: nervous

Sounds normal to me.

I didn't feel pregnant for the whole first trimester. Sometimes I even forgot!!!

Actually, sometimes before I move in th morning, I still don't feel pregnant!

Hang in there, first triester is the paranoia time, but once you see your little nugget on a sono, you will feel amazing!

Re: nervous

Congratulations on your BFP!!

Based on the date of your LMP, your doctor knows the approximate range that your HCG and Progesterone should be in. If you are there, then they don't always do a second blood test. The sonogram will allow them to measure and more accurately date the pregnancy. Normally when you go back for a second blood test it is to see if your #s are doubling the way they should be. My #s were strong, so they didn't make me come back. I went for an ultrasound the following week. I am now 9 weeks, 4 days.

Re: nervous

You are fine! I had NO symptoms at all for the first 10 weeks. After that the only symptom was exhaustion. Consider yourself lucky!!!

Re: nervous

Call your OB and just ask to ease your mind.. if anything they may have you go in earlier for sono.. Just relax and b/c as time goes on you will be here asking alot of questions that make you nervous lol.. Best Wishes.

Re: nervous

I didnt have many symptoms early on, and I know people who didnt have any symptoms at all! My Dr sent me for blood work at 6 weeks, a sono at 9 weeks. Don't worry, I know its hard. I remember asking my doctor " So what, now we just wait and assume all is okay" she said yes and I learned to relax. I am now 32 weeks!

Cramping is normal, its amazing to think about what your body is going through right now to make this little person!!
