I think she seems like a great Mom - but I wouldn't say I'd give her 'credit' for being so 'hands on' .........
She's the wife of Tom Cruise .......WHAT else does she really HAVE to do other than take care of the baby ? In her postion, I think she should be expected to be a hands on mom -

I agree with you on a certain level, but I think when people say they give "credit" to her it's because in theory, it would be very easy for her to cop out and let a nanny raise her baby BECAUSE she is married to Tom Cruise--wealthy, nothing to do but be selfish if she wants and travel and shop. I am glad she chooses to be hands on, but I'm not really shaking her hand or anything. I just think it's a nice choice considering most others seem to not go this route. Does this make sense?! ha ha
