I would say 2 are my very closest friends- one even more than the other- she was my matron of honor- but then 2 other very good girlfriends-
I don't have sisters, no SILs yet either, and all of my cousins are older-

I would say there are 6 girls I'm incredibly close to, that I would tell anything to or call if I needed them.

I have four friends, whom I've been friends with for at leats 18 years, in 1 case, 20. Two of them, I would tell anything to, and they could trust ANYTHING with me. The other two could tell me anything and could trust ANYTHING with me (as could the 1st 2), but I don't feel as close to. I have a 5th friend that I"m very close to now, and would do anything for her, but I haven't known her nearly as long.
So, in short, my answer is 5. And I feel very lucky to have a number that high.

I have plenty of friends but only two I'm REALLY close to.
The only person I trust completely and trust with everything is my DH. He's truly my best friend.
