tell me about your vacuum
Okay I have a central vac unit & a Dyson. I always use the Dyason upstairs(wall to wall carpet)
But, on the 1st floor all hard wood floors (with area rugs) I use the central vac AT LEAST 3 times a day. After every meal and sometimes more in between with snacks, or play dough. or crafts etc.
I am trying to find an electric small type vacuum that is safe on hard wood floors. I would like to keep it in one of my hall closets, so I can have easy access. PLEASE RECCOMEND if you have something you can suggest!! Or let me know if you have one you DON'T like

Wall to Wall the Dyson vacuum works great but for wood floors you should really vacuum with a vac that has rubber wheels. You shouldn't vacuum with a vac with plastic wheels. Plastic scratches...

okay thanks, so does anyone know a small vac that has rubber wheels? My central vac works great, because it has a soft brush along the whole bottom (no wheels) but it is a pain to get out every time. So I want a quick one for in between.
Thanks for that tip about the rubber wheels.
Is the swiffer vac electric?

My friend just a Shark sweeper and swears by it! Her vacuum broke and was under warranty so she needed something in the interim.

We use our animal dyson with the attachments for the tile and hardwood floors and we never have scratches.
