Lola doesnt like her leash, need help

I dont know why, but all of a sudden she refuses to walk when on the leash. We started behavior training on Tuesday (not that she is a problem she is only 4 months old but we wanted to make sure there wouldnt be any problems down the line), and she literally froze and would not walk, she just stood there.

Now when we try to take her out for a walk she just does not move.

What are we doing wrong, can anyone give me advice?

We got Meri used to a leash by leaving it down on the ground and kind of playing tug of war w/ her a little with it. Then we'd put it on her and take her out for a short walk to get her used to it and then a little longer each time...I think it takes some getting used to for them...
She now knows the leash is to be put on for walking and she also knows what it's called- we leave it in the same spot and she'll run to get it when my DH comes home b/c they go on long walks together.

Make the leash a fun thing....don't use it for training only. I agree with playing with her a little and then taking her for a nice walk. She'll associate the leash with good stuff and won't be afraid of it.

Try treat rewards when you put the leash on and TONS of praise just for her "letting: you put the leash on. And repeat over and over. Entice her to walk by showing some treats.
