Where did you get your moving anouncements from?
I was looking online, but I don't want to spend $100 on these things. Did you see/get any at like Party City or someplace? I'm just looking for a postcard or note I can write on. TIA!

I was going to take a pic of hubby and me in front of the new house and send out those photo cards that Costco does for $25. There is one that says we moved and they can print it up with your address and phone #.
I never got around to doing it, one more card to send to people along with shower thank yous, christmas christmas and wedding thank yous.

I never wound up doing moving announcements but I know they have some nice ones at vistaprint.com and from what I remember, they're reasonably priced.

I bought business cards and stuck them in our holiday cards for our first move and got post cards from creative images for this house.

Target cares a few different ones and they are cute and inexpensive.

I sent it around as an e-card. It was totally cost efficient and very cute!

Re: Where did you get your moving anouncements from?
I got some blank notecards at Target on clearance - they had an assortment of pictures of a garden, pictures of flowers in flowerpots, and some mailboxes.
I thought the mailboxes one was pretty appropriate.
I just wrote something like "We've moved into our first home' and then put our address and phone number.

Colorfulimages.com
$8.99 for 24 postcards printed with your new address info
I have used them twice and found them the best..plus only postcard stamps are needed

Re: Where did you get your moving anouncements from?
You could get a package of printed paper from Office Max or Staples for just a couple of dollars and print them out on your printer at home. That would also save you the time of having to write your address and phone # on each of those postcards to be sent.
