Arbonne?

What do you know about it?
My SIL had a party that I went to yesterday. She joined as a consultant and wants me to join w/ her. Some of the things that the woman hosting the party said were kind of scary about the things that we are putting into our bodies.
She said some brands of mascara have animal feces in them (not theirs). Anyway, I ordered some stuff and am going to see if this is something I would like to do to help her out but wanted everyones thoughts about the products first....
The woman joined last october and already has been given a mercedes by the company-- and she quit her job and makes between 7,000-8,000 a month, working from home.
I have my own company and work from home as well, but I thought this could be something I may benefit from.

Re: Arbonne?

my SIL sold Arbonne. I liked the products I used. Its pricey though - there are a lot of hands to feed along the way. I think the only way to make real money is to recruit consultants to work under you.

Re: Arbonne?

My cousin is one you don't make much commission at first. I joined as a consultant just to get the discount but I never plan on selling it. Seemed way to complicated to me

Exactly! My best friend is a consultant and it is a lot of work to get consultants to work under you - which is pretty much where you make your money. She also was in the red for a long time - then she finally started to make some money (not a load though).

I've gotten some samples of their stuff, but never went to a "party".
Do you have a list of the actual ingredients that they use in all of their products?
Are they completely "natural" or "organic"? (their products just seem kind of perfumey) I'm wondering what makes Arbonne better/healthier for us that other brands?

I think so--- I am waiting for my SILs info packet to arrive. They just put her in the system yesterday so I guess by the end of this week it should arrive.
I know yesterday the Arbonne person was telling us how the average woman digests something like 2 pounds of mineral oil a year or some ridiculous statistic-- from their lipstick. And how kids are putting the same stuff into their systems just by using chapstick (which kids of course basically eat b/c it tastes good!).
She also mentioned that her friend's son is highly allergic to a lot of things and how they used the diaper cream on him and his rash cleared up overnight and nothing in it was bad for him.
Anyway, I've been a lia sophia jewelry advisor for a while, besides owning my own decorative painting business, but I'd like to help my SIL out b/c she's not familiar w/ any of this stuff. I'm going to read her packet once it arrives and I'm guessing i'll be a consultant w/in the next couple of weeks...

Can you FM me with what you received for hosting a party please? I wasn't following this at my SILs party yesterday, b/c they never went into it to try to get others to have a party.

Re: Arbonne?

I went to a meeting about this a couple of weeks ago. It seems like people make money doing it. I'm on the fence about it though. The only problem I have is that most people put a lot of money up front to buy the sample sets for others to try. There were women there who put in $1200-2000 up front. They said they made it back, but I just don't have that kind of cash to invest. I might do it with my mom and see how it works out. I still have to read the info and I'm still waiting to try the sensitive skin line to see if it's as good as they claim. I'll let you know.
