Sleeping pills NEVER work for me.
They make me jumpier.

I dont know if you are taking Ambien or one of those, they don't work for me either. Valium usually does the trick  I sound like a drug pusher, really I'm not, but sometimes you just need a little help. I hope you are sleeping now though!
