Question
For those of you that Spackled, and Sanded your walls - Do you know if the walls were primed first or painted without using a primer? Thanks, Scott

Re: Question
always prime after spackling and sanding. otherwise the paint will soak right into where you spackled, and it will look blotchy.

Re: Question
Definitly prime. And if you are going to use that red I saw in some of your pics. Get your primer tinted for that color. Helps out alot.

Re: Question
The guy who did ours primed. It seems like a royal pain but the paint goes on so much quicker after you prime the walls. Otherwise, you will have to keep applying coat after coat after coat. Good luck! Can't wait to see what colors you have chosen!

Re: Question
Prime first...the dry wall will **** up the paint and it will be very hard to get the color even.

Re: Question
2 coats of primer, 2 coats of color on every wall.
As I heard on some show, "First coat is for Joe, second coat is for show"
