what is THE SECRET?

i've heard people mention it.

what is it?
where can i find it?
how can i use it?

this might be a really stupid question if it's really obvious.

Yes it's a book.... The secret is about the secrets of life, how to think more positive, and how to come into money, etc they also have a dvd for $30 i guess in Bj's and costco that what my sister told me... The book is really good and it make's you think!

I just read it. It's a nice thought, but the book is very brief and not really worth $23.

It is 3 steps.
1. Ask the universe for something, anything, They tell you to think big, that nothing is out of reach.
2. Visualize it, give gratitude for it
Step 3 is basically receiving what you want.

I like the idea and wish it were so easy. Thinking positively is a good idea.

Some people were on Oprah claiming it worked for them. Again, it's a smally book with lots of quotes etc.

We've got the DVD and really liked it. It was a great exercise to organize our goals and dreams and to make sure that we are on the same road. It's all about visualizing what you want and positive thinking.

We watched it in April and one of our goals was to buy a house by November. At the time it seemed like a real long shot, but we went ahead and did the visualizing and here we are moving into our brand new house in a couple of weeks.

My one criticism is that it makes it seem like you don't have to do anything but visualize what you want and you will get it. For us, we work a lot and work hard, and it really helped us to define our goals and take real steps towards them.

We watch it whenever we feel like we are in need of a little inspiration.

We have the DVD too, it's pretty good. From being in sales I know that writing down your goals or having pictures of things you want, does help. To me you also have to be greatful for what you do already have, that helps you get what you want to I find. I'm thinking of trying to find a pic of a bigger house, see if we end up getting it.
