On to the coffee table - what do you think...
So I posted my rug & LR earlier - do you think this coffee table will work in the space?

I like it, but it may be too light. Does it come darker?
What about something like this that has turned legs that matches your sofa/chair legs?

Love what you posted - and in fact, I picked out that exact one originally (is it restoration hardware?) but it was $910 and I was trying to avoid any sharp edges for any future or .
But I just might have to wait for a sale! Tx

I like that coffee table, I think its too small a space to have a dark table.

Re: On to the coffee table - what do you think...
i have the same coffee table in my den. bought as a temporary piece but haven't replaced it yet. it is decent but not the best quality. below are pics of the table in my den.
you definitely need something narrow but the "wood" might be a little too light for your colors. i love your current furniture and colors but i would advise that you work w/ other layouts as the room seems a little crowded. can you place the chairs facing the fireplace (at the top of the couch.) or one chair facing and one chair where it is? what about the sofa facing the fireplace and the chairs where the sofa is? looks like you have a great sized corner to the left of the fireplace and would be nice if that could someone be utilized. maybe move the round table there as it appears to be out of scale (too high) w/ the chairs. The first one is from Ethan Allen and the second one is from Ralph Lauren so I am sure its more than $910! I was going to post the RH one, but the site was under construction when I was online in the wee hours of the morning!
