Yet another LIRR story
Blu-ize, here's another to add to your book.
This is not mine, but DH's, however, it was so gross I had to share. 
Usually we sit together on the train, but I was home sick yesterday so DH rode by himself.
Some guy sits down next to him and takes out a ham and cheese sandwich. Ok, so the guy's eating on the train, smelly, but not the biggest deal.
But then he takes out a ketchup packet, uses half of it, and throws the rest on the floor. Then he takes out another, uses half of it, and throws that on the floor. Then he throws part of the wrapper on the floor.
DH then falls asleep, wakes up some time later to see a half-eaten sandwich on the floor by his feet. Falls back asleep.
When they pull into Penn Station, there is the ketchup, cheese, wrapper, half eaten sandwich on the floor. And on the seat where the guy was sitting -a newspaper with soda spilled all over it and the empty cup on top. 
Today we get on the train and go to sit down until DH points to the floor and says "this is where I was sitting yesterday, see the cheese and ketchup on the floor?" AND it was there! The guy was such a disgusting slob that I guess they couldn't even clean it all, it permanently left a mark.
WHY ARE PEOPLE SUCH DISGUSTING SLOBS??

Because they only clean the cars once every couple of weeks. Yes they sweep and pick up the papers, but they only CLEAN them with a mop and such every 14 - 20 days I think.

The whole world has gone mad IMO. No one cares if they litter..it's become a "normal" thing.
If I could I would prefer to be in a bubble because I don't like having to ride a bus or subway these days or touch anything for that matter because they are SO filthy! They may look clean but they aren't. You don't know who touched what, or what they have..and it's enough to drive you crazy. Now I know why I see so many people with masks and gloves on when they ride the bus/train.

Gaaaaaa-roooooooosssss!!!!
Last night on the train home, we were at the stop right before mine and a woman in the seat across the aisle got up to leave and I noticed she left her cell phone and empty water bottle behind, so before she got away, I told her she forgot her cell and water bottle, she politely thanked me, grabbed her cell phone, NOT the water bottle and left... as she was leaving the announcer was making his "clean train campaign" announcement. It's just a water bottle, but c'mon!!!!

Yuck!
I've posted this before but that reminds of the time I sat next to a guy that pulled individual rolled up slices of deli meat out of his briefcase for snack time. So nasty.
I gave him a dirty look & moved my seat.

Strange, but I don't find that nasty at all. Of course, I've been carb-controlled for years.
