How do you snap out of it?
When you're just SO TIRED you can't function?
I'm not talking about right now, or at night - I'm talking about during the day...morning, noon, night. Chronically tired.
This whole week, I felt as if I could put my head down and close my eyes for hours at any given time.
Including right now.
And driving to work this morning.

Re: How do you snap out of it?
If I'm driving I roll down the windows and turn up the music. Otherwise, I get up and mova around- get a drink or a snack... it usually helps fight it off for a while...

It sounds like you need a day off to relax. I know you're getting married soon and maybe everything is catching up to you and your getting mentally exhausted. If you can take the time to just veg and relax this weekend, give it a try.

I crank up the loudest angriest hardest music I can find.
Usually helps.
But I get some strange looks from the cars next to me.

Re: How do you snap out of it?
It happens to me a lot while I'm at work.
What works for me is talking a walk around the office and grabbing an ice cold soda (I never drink the soda so the bubbles give me gas which results in little burps which keeps me awake )

Re: How do you snap out of it?
This happened to me yesterday. I had to cover 2 assignments and did them almost right away. Im driving home from out east and literally felt my eyes shutting on me. (DS has NOT been sleeping through, DH and I need some serious sleep..been a rough week).. Anyway, I actually turned the air on AND rolled down the window. Even stopped and bought a soda WITH caffeine. I am not a coffee drinker, but, Im thinking of starting. Even right now, my eyes are so heavy and DS is having a grand ole time playing..LOL..I can't wait till nap time (so I can finish some work, and hopefully shut my eyes for a bit).

Re: How do you snap out of it?
The only thing that snaps me out of it is to give in to it. If I'm so exhausted that I need to put my head down, I do. A 30 min power nap can be very refreshing.
Take care of you...

ITA.... I am tired all the time and the only thing that really helps me is a short (or long) nap... feel better

THEN this morning I saw something about Iron deficiency lol f course now I think I have that Actually, this could be a factor. I'm anemic, and when I forget to take a multivitamin I get exhausted, like totally non-functional.
Hope you get your energy back soon!

I had this problem also. But I found out this week that I am really anemic - I am having trouble shaking an infection so my doctor did bloodwork. I now take iron pills (along with having a few other kinks to work on too)
