Help with Shower Locations
Hey All,
I know I should post this on LIW, but the bride is on LIW and searches posts all the time.
Anyhow, we are trying to plan my friends bridal shower (there is only 2 of us really planning it, her tomboy sister whose the MOH and myself because the other 2 BM's are in Buffalo).
Anyway, we have decided to do a tea party sort of theme. Does anyone know of any places that do this besides Three Village Inn and Danfords? We are trying to keep it around $20-$25 per head being its really only 2 of us putting $$$ in the pot. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. The bride is very reserved, femine and is going for a classy wedding, therefore wants like minimal games at her shower (boo!!!)
Wedding is 6/28/08, looking at March/April for the shower.
Help! Thanks Kerry

Re: Help with Shower Locations
If you're willing to travel out to Bay Shore, than Milk & Sugar would be PERFECT for your theme and the bride would fall in love with it. It may be a little more than you're hoping to spend, but it may be worth a look-see....

Re: Help with Shower Locations
my friend had one and it was on an estate that rented out. They had to bring all of the food, but it was really lovely. I will give the maid of honor a call and see if she can remember the name. I know it was in Nassau.

Robinson Tea Room in Stony Brook Village. It is behind the Golden Pear. I have never eaten their, but I heard it was good. I can tell you other good restaurants but, I don't know of any that would have a tea party.
