The Life of David Gale... REALLY GOOD movie. Especially, if no one's ruined points/moments of the movie.
Never saw the other movie.

Bagger Vance - never saw
David Gale - AMAZING move. Gripping. I love Kate Winslet and think she is one of the best out there today. The story really makes you think.

this is good to know so far. I knew David Gale had gotten rave reviews, but haven't heard much about Bagger Vance.
I ask b/c I bought both movies yesterday at Wal-Mart. They had a whole bin, 2 moves for $11!! $5.50 each - not a bad deal!!!

imo, david gale is not for a 12 year old. it deals with the death penalty and can get a little graphic at times. but its an excellent movie and if you explain to her what is going on, she may understand it.

Never saw the Legend of Baggar Vance...
The Life of David Gale - Excellent movie provided that no one has spoiled any of the movie for you...However,I do not recommend it for a 12 year old...too graphic...Kevin Spacey plays an excellent part

David Gale was a great movie! I agree that it isn't appropriate for a 12-year old. It had some nudity.
