It's probably the meds. But dogs do sleep a lot... I find that my little terror, I mean terrier ( ) has spurts of craziness and then will sleep for an hour and then he'll be crazy for about 10 minutes and then sleep some more.
Yeah he does that. He will be running around like a tard, playing with his toys trying to bite or he is comatose. When we first played with him at NSAL and then put him in his cage again he started crying and pawing at me from the cage. I knew we had to get him instantly. Now on to the fun thing. Training.

OMG! He's adorable!! I would love to get a dog like that (someday). DH likes small dogs though. 
But for now we have our two cats to keep us company!
