Wedding gift question
My 3rd cousin is getting married, and DH and I were invited. We can't go because we're coming back from Arizona that day at 10pm. For our wedding, neither my cousin, nor her parents attended the wedding. They sent a gift from the 4 of them (parents and 2 grown daughters). Now, my parents are going to the wedding, but DH and I are not. Should we send something small off the registry, or just maybe $100? She is older than me (by at least 10 years) so does etiquitte (sp) say that I should not send money, and an actual gift instead?

I'd send whichever you're more comfortable with, I don't think either is wrong.

send what you can afford. you are not attending so whatever you decide to give will be a nice gesture. i always like sending gifts from the registry so they have something to open after the wedding is over.

I would send a gift off the registry if I weren't going to the wedding. But, do whatever you feel most comfortable doing.
