We decided to go with the laminate
countertop in our MBA. It's $100 cheaper incl. installation. The other way would of been $100 more without installation. Anyway, what color/style would you guys want in your MBA if the cabinets are white? Since it is Laminate and not granite or anything would you want a laminate that looked like granite, marble, etc. and what color family would be best for a BA? Remember... we'll be selling the house. Thanks!

neutral, neutral, neutral.
Something that would go with as many styles of decorating and as many colors as possible.

Right now it's beige carpet. We haven't decided on whether or not to change it to a tile/vinyl floor.

Re: We decided to go with the laminate
Just do a neutral formica, possibly something that looks like stone & the same color sink as the toilet. Beige, tan & do a matte finish, it doesn't scratch as easily as the glossy mica. I'm sure you've watched some of the millions of shows on selling houses in a soft market. The key is for everything to be neutral.
