Those who have had your roof done
How many estimates did/would you get? I've done a search on here and collected quite a hefty list but am wondering how many of them to have come to the house? TIA! I've never really hired a contractor before so this is foreign territory for me. We will eventually need windows and siding as well so we're in for lots of this.

get at least 3 estimates, and make sure you check their record on BBB.org, and get some recommendations before signing a contract.....

We got three or four, and ended up going with the same company that did our siding.

2 estimates, and I did the roof, windows and siding at once. However, I went with a contractor that I know very well and completely trust and worked out a "cash" price. I also knew what the job should cost and knew I was getting a good price.
