Using my cat as a Halloween accessory?
Obviously, the subject of the post is facetious. We treat our cats like their our children, which is kind of sad but whatever . One of our cats is a big, black cat (his nickname is Panther). Can I answer our door on Halloween with the cat or should I be concerned that some of the kids might be allergic to cats? I've seriously never given out Halloween candy before so I have no idea. Thanks

I don't think its a good idea. Not only kids with allergies, but what if he gets scared and jumps out of your arms, scratching you and/or the kids in the process. Or if he runs out the door and you can't find him.

I used to have a black cat. He used to like to sit in the window. On Halloween I would just point him out to the kids, "See the kitty in the window".
