Those who use Photoshop...or have purchased photoshop for dummies
I have photshop cs, i want to get either Photoshop CS for dummies or Photoshop cs for dummies 10 in 1 reference.
Does anyone which one is better for a total beginner?
TIA!
ETA: or have recs which other book is good for beginners?

It's funny you post this. I just went out and got it. I looked through a whole bunch of books and ended up with the one "for dummies" because, honestly, it's the cheapest. There is one that really looked great, but it was $60. If I read this one and find I want to do more, I'll get the more advanced book.

That's exactly what i was thinking. I have this wonderful software and I think photoshop is just not one of those programs you can play around with and figure out, well you can, but you'll miss so much.
I'm going to try half.com to buy something
I need to learn this to do my xmas cards!

Same with me. I'm the kidn of person who likes to learn the whole program. If I never use features, that's fine. But at least I can if I want to
That's the same reason I'm learning it!
