Re: fleas??!?!?!
Oh man - how did you find the little buggers in your house? They are tiny.
I just adopted a stray cat, and asked a million questions about this because before I took him in he had a live flea on him.
We treated with Frontline between the shoulders. After that I only found one more live flea on him which I killed. then I saw a dead one where the cat sleeps. We kept the cat quarantined in one room, and monitored for flea dirt (take a wet towel and rub down the pet or where they sleep - if it turns red its flea dirt.) Frontline only kills the adults, but there are products out there that sterilize.
My vet told me to also keep track if you are getting red bites around your feet. Sometimes fleas jump off the pet and lay eggs in the carpet.
Online I read that you can sprinkle 12 mule borax (If I remember correctly) on the carpet, then vacuum it up. I couldn't find any of this carpet stuff in the supermarket though. Change the vacuum bag outside. I'm also doing all my wash on hot, and not letting my cat on furniture, or in bedrooms.

another thing you can do with the vaccume is put moth balls in the bag if it's a bag vaccume it kills the flea's. There are a few diffrent products for furniture and carpets.
