Chicken with a touch of chilli
I just went to Au Bon Pain and ordered the Mayan Chicken bowl over rice. As I am eating it the chicken seems to be cooked with chilli and is a tad on the spicey side.
Should I continue eating it or throw it out? Does spicey food effect the baby?

You may get a little heartburn (if you're prone to it), but the baby will be fine.
I have LIVED on spicy food my entire pregnancy, so enjoy!!

Oh wonderful!!! Yes, I'm definitely prone to heartburn these days but this dish tastes so good it's totally worth the tortures feeling of burning in my chest!

Enjoy it! I actually seem to like spicier foods more now than before.
If you have heartburn it might aggravate it but other than that just enjoy!!

I've noticed I want spicy food a lot. It's like I NEED food with lots of flavor. If its bland I don't want to eat it. I'll pay for it later, but it's worth it!
