WR: Shower for older bride
My over 50 cousin is getting married for the first time. Her sister is throwing her a small shower, but she doesn't need the typical shower stuff. She has mentioned that she'd love to have someone clean her house, so the MOH wanted to try to come up with a poem to invite people to contribute toward a Merry Maids gc. Any suggestions?

Gift cards. Maybe to places like Kohls where they sell a lot of stuff or even restaurants.

In general, I would shy away from making gift suggestions like that. Since you said the guest list is small, I would just spread the suggestion via word of mouth.
