help - removing grout???
DH did the grout in the kitchen backsplash about 3 hours ago. He caked it on way too thick and it got into the grooves in the tiles and we CANNOT get it off! It looks like cr*p and scrubbing with hot water isn't doing it.... we bought this acid stuff from lowe's and that's not working.... i'm crying... it looks SO ugly and I don't know what to do to make it come off... someone has to know something to help, please!

Re: help - removing grout???
Dried grout is almost like cement, so it's not easy, but I did a quick search, and these products may work:
http://www.aquamix.com/for_home_use/products/pg_detail.asp?pdid=44279&pgid=9833
http://www.aquamix.com/for_home_use/products/pg_detail.asp?pdid=30603&pgid=9833
They may have similar things at HomeDepot and/or Lowes.

Re: help - removing grout???
we went through this - we used a grout remover acid, a magic eraser, and a razor blade. That combination worked well.
