Yes. I chose only family to be a part of my wedding with one exception. One of my BMs is my best friend whom I've known since we are in diapers. She has lived in FL (me in NY) since we were 7 but I really couldn't ask fr a better friend.
As a matter of fact she is visiting right now. I love her

I had a wedding party of 3 - SIL, and 2 friends. I talk with my SIL and my friend from high school. I don't talk to one of my friends anymore - we've just gone our separate ways in life.

For the most part, yes. As for the groomsmen, thats a whole other issue. We had one guy in our BP who we dont speak to anymore. The sad thing is that I dont even know why.
