Re: another bored wedding spinoff
the best wedding was probably my friends wedding that i was in three years ago. it was just low key, laid back and FUN! she had a great DJ and we were all dancing the whole night... the grooms dad even extended the reception for an extra hour because everyone was having so much fun. it was at a country club, so it was nice, but not too formal or stuffy or "show-offy". just a good time all around.

Re: another bored wedding spinoff
Best wedding was a good friends in 2001. It was 4 days after 9/11 in NJ. I had gotten a phone call from her asking if I was ok and she understood if we did not make it to her wedding. I told her I was fine and if I had to walk I would be there.
The wedding was fantastic. It was very low key and was held in the reception hall behind her church. The DJ was great, the food was wonderful and everyone was there celebrating their love.

My brother's wedding was my favorite wedding next to my own. I went to an engagement party a few weeks ago and had a great time there. I can only imagine what the wedding will be like.

I would have to say DH's cousin's wedding. It was at Giorgio's and everything was just perfect. The food, the DJ, the hall, etc. Nothing was wrong. It was a beautiful place.

My friend's wedding at Carlisle on the green. That place is beautiful and they did a great wedding. The food was great, the band was amazing and lots of friends were there. Overall a great time.

Our Cousins Billy & Clara in the Bahamas at Atlantis. It was a great fun filled weekend and the wedding was laid back, hilarious and we danced all night. It was awesome and was part of the reason we decided to have a destination wedding.

Re: another bored wedding spinoff
my cousin laura's.
i was 13 at her wedding. i remember wishing that my wedding could be like hers. i even posted about it on LIW: when at one point in the night IT HAPPENED, my wedding was like my cousins.
it was not a fancy wedding, by any stretch of the imagination. i just remember a feeling of love, happiness, and a sense of family.
loved it!!!!!!

Im not married so I cant say my own, but definitly my sister's. The food was great and you were truly able to tell that everyone really was enjoying themselves. The whole wedding party and many of the guests were up dancing the whole time.

My MOH's hands down! The music was great and the dance floor was packed. Everyone had a blast. I don't think the DJ played one song I did not like!
The food was great too! Especially desert!

Hands down, my brother's wedding! It was also at the Watermill, but, they added extras but still made it "simple" at the same time. Best time ever. No one sat down, Awesome DJ, we didn't stop laughing. GREAT time!!!! I even love watching His DVD..LOL.

Re: another bored wedding spinoff
Wow! This one is a tougie. I pretty much have a great time at ANY wedding I go to, but I can honestly say that the one that stands out the most for me has to be my brothers wedding. I dont know if it because I was with my cousins (that I dont see too often) and we partied & danced like there was no tomorrow, or if it was because the service in this place was impeccable. Either way, I had a blast. I actually have a wedding today that I'm looking forward to attending. I had one yesterday too.
