Dilema...30 wks and a BM?

I'm pregnant, I have known for less than a week and we haven't told anyone yet. The last time I had a MC, so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself yet.

That being said, this week is also the week I need to order a BM dress for a wedding in late March - when I'll be 30 weeks if all goes right.

So, this dress isn't empire waste or any style that would work for a preggo in my opinion. The dress consultant keeps calling me and I don't know what to do.

My friend knows about my MC and that we're trying, a few months ago she said if I was preggo I could get another dress if need be. So, should I call her and tell her (we didn't want to tell anyone yet) or just order a dress many sizes too big?

I don't know what to do!!

I would tell your frind the bride. Tell her it's a secret.
Then wait to order a different dress.

I would call your friend and tell her the situation. Maybe she could contact the bridal shop and let them know that you will need another dress and that could buy you some x-tra time. March is still some time away I am sure an exception can be made for you. {{{{{{{{{{{{{ Sticky Vibes }}}}}}}}}}}

My wedding was last march and we ordered all of the dress in August. My cousin ended up getting pregnant in September. (And my dress was not even close to anything maternity!) When it was time for the fittings, the bridal shop ordered more material and made the dress beautiful!!!

So, I think it's totally up to you! If you want to wait and not tell her, wait! If you feel comfortable telling this person, tell her!!

I think telling your friend is a good choice. If you are in her wedding, then I assume you are close and she can keep it a secret until you come public. Then you can talk to the dress consultant and seek her professional advice. May dresses can have material bought to adjust for your belly.

Thanks everyone! I ended up telling her. In addition to knowing about my MC, she is also a nurse, so she is sensitive to my situation. She said to call the bridal consultant and see if the dress can be altered for a belly. If not, she said to pick a different dress in the same color that can be. The bridal consultant is going to talk to the seamstress and call back on Monday.
