Do you think I'll be in labor soon?

I went for my 2nd internal today. The first internal the baby's head was really low which surprised the dr and she said that was a good sign. No dialation.

Today the baby's head is still very low and she said that my cervix was softening. No dialation.

Do you think things will start to happen soon for me? I have 3 more weeks to go!

I wouldnt know but what i can say is babys are unpredictable. I had an internal on a thurs. and i was not dialted and only 50% efaced. On that sat i woke up with major pains and ended up going to hospital and was 3-4 cm dilated and had my dd that night. so you never know when they decide its time.

i don't think there's any way to predict these things. i am sitting here, 3cm dilated and 90% effaced, and the doc told me the chances of my going this week are "excellent". friday night is nearly come and gone, and lo and behold, i am still here and still pregnant!

i've decided i'm not listening to the doctor anymore - only my baby knows when he is coming out!

they really don't know when babies will decided to pop out..my principle went to the doc w/her 1st child, (years ago) and the doc checked her that afternoon said, she'd go on time in the next 3 wks...lo and behold, she went into labor that night.

the only way they truly know is if they induce or c section, other than that - i think they guess to the best of their ability!
